WE WENT TO SIX FLAGS INSTEAD OF SCHOOL!!!!

On April 20, 2001, all the calculus kids that wanted to went to Six Flags in honor of Physics Day. Most of us weren't actually in physics, but shoot- it was fun anyhow. So here are some pictures from our field trip.

How cute are they? Kelley and Carrie on the Carousel at Six Flags- first thing we did. Then they decided they wanted Holly to ride things. Oy. Like rollercoasters. Holly had never ridden a roller coaster before...

This is Kelley trying to steal some wood from the park! Yikes! Later she went after some basketballs...

Yeah- so we rode all of the water rides that were open (no river rapids... sad!), and we rode the mini mine train and the not-so-mini mine train with the wax people and Judge Roy Scream that looks like a sine or cosine graph. That was the reference to calculus- did you catch it? We had to put it in here somewhere, since that's why we went to Six Flags and all.

You can't so much tell in this picture, but Holly is, in fact, tall enough to ride Judge Roy Scream. Hense the "thumbs up"... except you can't so much see that either. Pity! Anyhow, so yeah- she rode it, though it was rather entirely against her better judgement. And she lived. Yay!

The mine train was way more fun. Here they are- Carrie (or rather half of Carrie), Kelley and Holly riding the mine train for like the 500000000000000000000000000000000th time. Maybe not. Maybe it was the second or third.

To make up for the lack of Carrie in the previous picture, here is some more of her (on the bus ride home... when Mr. Bondies kept telling Carrie to poke Holly and Holly got annoyed. What was that all about??? Shoot...)
